The World Junior Tournament allows you to see up and coming hockey players. When you want to place a bet on your favorite players or teams, you will find that free live sports streaming helps you watch the action when it happens. While you may have an interest in several players throughout the tournament, it is always a good idea to keep up with the individuals and teams with the best performances to have an idea of where to place your bet

The Saves By Kasper Krog

Kasper Krog from Denmark showed his skills during the match against Finland. During the match, he saved 58 shots from the opposing team. Since his team went into the game with 4 to 1 odds in favor of Finland, his excellent performance stood out from other players and teams. Although he was not able to stop four of the shots in the game, he stopped several shots from getting through his defense.

Adam Fox Wins at the Last Moment

Adam Fox from the United States of America caused a sudden shift in the outcome of the match against Finland with his score. Although the USA team started out strong, the score between Finland and the US was even by the time Adam Fox got into the game. By scoring with only 1 minute and 37 seconds left in the game, he made the winning score.

The Upset By Martin Kaut

The Czech Republic's win against Russia was unexpected. Martin Kaut played a key role in the upset win by providing three primary assists out of five total scores. His assist on the winning score helped the Czech Republic win the game against Russia for the second time in the last 11 games they've played.

Roman Durny Saves the Game

Roman Durny from the Slovak team stood out during the match against the USA. He stopped 45 shots from American players that allowed his team to win in an upset match against the USA. By preventing the USA from scoring several goals, his team was able to win the game by one point. It was the first win against the USA since 2009.

Winning the Shoot Out Against Russia

Sweden's team in the World Junior Tournament preliminary rounds stood out due to their efforts against Russia. Although Sweden has always moved through the preliminary rounds, they were tested by Russia and the game went into a shoot out. Filip Gustavsson's save against Artur Kayumov combined with the marker by Oscar Steen to win the game. It resulted in the 44th straight win by Sweden, but it was a close game.

The World Junior Tournament had several excellent performances by players from several teams. While certain players stood out from their team due to their excellent skills or abilities, the teams worked together to cause upset wins throughout the rounds. If you plan to keep up with young players, then you want to pay attention to the players who gave excellent performances during the tournament and the skills they develop as they move into future matches or start playing on professional teams.
