The annual six-game CHL SUBWAY Super Series features a select team of Russian Junior pluyers and all-star teams representing the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). The WHL, OHL, and QMJHL each host two games against Team Russia.
Charlottetown, PEI-It wasn’t the prettiest of games but Team QMJHL is happy with the outcome as they knocked off their Russian opponents 3-1 in Game 5 of the CIBC Canada Russia Series.
We’re halfway through the Canada Russia Series, and like this point last year, the Russians are one win ahead after completing the WHL portion and half of the OHL loop.
